Self DECLARATION BY THE CANDIDATE IN LIEU OF OBC-NCL CERTIFICATE for JEE Main Exam
If you are appearing for the JEE Main Exam then you are required to provide a self declaration on OBC-NCL. Other Backward Classes-Non Creamy Layer, or OBC-NCL It is a certificate that the central government issues to those who are on the central obc list and whose income is less than 6 lakhs per year in order to grant them access to educational facilities and employment.
OBC people who fall into the "Creamy Layer" group are wealthier, better off, and more privileged than other OBC members generally. The other OBC category, known as non-creamy layer OBC, is not as developed socially or economically as creamy layer OBC.

I understand that as per the new guideline from the Ministry of Personnel, Public
Grievances and Pensions, GoI, I am required to submit the OBC-NCL certificate
issued on or after 1 January 2022.
Since I have not been able to collect the said certificate on time, I may kindly be
allowed to write JEE (Main) - 2022 provisionally. I hereby declare that I will
upload a fresh certificate (issued on or after 1 January 2022) at the time of
reporting after seat allocation.
I understand that inability to upload the same by the given date and time will lead
to the withdrawal of the OBC-NCL benefit. I also understand that, if qualified, my
category will be adjusted accordingly in the Common Rank List.
